Scarlett is expecting

So since Sable died, we got a new cat. A little Bengal Leopard Cat called Scarlett. She practically destroyed the house for the first six months and took a particular dislike to the Christmas Tree. She only seemed to see us as something to attack on a regular basis and would scream the house down every time we went near the kitchen.

But then we took her back to the breeders (www.glitterglam.co.uk ) and got her mated with Michaelangelo. Within days she'd calmed down and became really lovely.

Now she's an adorable cat. She's really loving and cuddly.

And she's the size of a small hatchback. We're expecting the kittens on Wednesday and it's all getting very exciting. I'll be keeping one of the boy kittens as I've always wanted a male Bengal called Hunter (and it's best to keep two Bengals together anyway, as it stops them getting bored and destroying the house).

But the rest will need good homes finding for them.

However, that's a while away yet - first things first. Let the babies arrive!
