Wonderfully lazy Sunday

I woke up early with a bit of a sore throat. I got up and Chris was snoring on the sofa and there were leftovers from last night's dinner with large glasses of red wine scattered around the living room. I went back to bed and read more of Rupert Everett's autobiography called 'Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins'. It's really got me gripped and I love it. I can sit and read that book for hours as I have memories of things or events that I talk about and it's interesting to hear it from his point of view. I was mildly obsessed with the film that he starred in called 'Another Country' when I was 15 and discovering my sexuality. Therefore it's brilliant to read what it was like for him to film it and at that time of his life.
So I read that for a few hours before running a bath and then laying in the warm water while reading more. After that I reheated some of last night's food before banishing Chris to the bedroom to watch the Formula One racing as it gives me a headache.
As he stayed in there for several hours I read another chapter of Rupert's book and then watched Modern Family with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar and bread.
Miss Kimberley has invited me to a party held for the producer of The Brits, but I'm going to cook some lamb for dinner and drink the rest of that Pinot Noir. Perfect.
